Rakesh Kumar K is a versatile software engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and debugging web and mobile applications across multiple domains such as retail, banking, insurance, consumer electronics, and aerospace. He is proficient in Java, Javascript, React Js, React Native, and Kotlin and has deep knowledge of developing web apps, backend microservices, as well as mobile apps using native and cross-platform technologies like React Native. Rakesh is passionate about creating amazing mobile app experiences for end-users and applying data structures and algorithms to solve problems. He is also passionate about data science and building data-driven solutions using machine learning and artificial intelligence. He has strong knowledge of applying techniques like Regression, KNN, Decision trees, Naive Bayes, Gradient descent, Hyperparameter tuning to best fit the models. In the past, Rakesh has worked at Boeing as a Senior Software Engineer, where he developed and maintained Spring-based microservices on Java and Kotlin, front-end on React Js, and mobile app development using React Native. He has also worked at Philips as a Software Technologist, where he worked on healthcare products that help consumers with sleep disorders and developed video-based consultation for health services subscribers in-app through mobile. Rakesh holds a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from GLIM and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Vishveshwaraiah Technological University.
